Introduction

This is a newly designed awful webpage which aims to keep you up to date with the latest animal news. It is to be noted that dinosaurs are no longer part of the alive animals today as they have been extinct for a very long time. Many dogs and cats will show up throughout this webpage but you will also see some wild animals such as the lion or my favourite animal the cheetah!

The three most dangerous animals in my opinion

  1. The Lion
  2. The lion is an extraodinary animal which uses it's teeth and claws to kill it's food. It is very vicious and usually hunt in packs. They sleep over 20+ hours of the day and only hunt for a few hours. It is also important to note that the female lions are usually the ones who do the hunting. The lions take number 1 at this list.

  3. The Tiger
  4. The tiger is interesting because it is the largest of the cat species which means it's definetely a good contendor for the most dangerous animals. They are mostly located around south-east Asia having many different types such as the Siberian Tiger near India. They are extremely territorial and dangerous so never go near one unless you are a trained professional! The lion has a slight edge on the tiger however because of their raw power.

  5. The Hyena
  6. Picture of Hyena

The Hyena is an unusual pick for one of the top 3 most dangerous animals because it is no where near as big as the other two cats but the thing about the Hyenas is they always hunt in packs. Hunting in packs means they can take down the largest of foes. Some have even gone as far as hunting down an isolated tiger or Hyena. They are famous as well for roar, or laughter which has been shown through the Lion King.

Water Animals

We want to hear you opinion on your favourite water creatures - input this form here and soon we'll have a rough estimate of what the most popular water animals are!

Now there is a plethora of creatures which are under the sea, these include:
  • Turtles
  • Jellyfish
  • Sharks
  • Stingrays

  • The Shark

Each water creature is unique in their own way, but I will explain more about the shark.
    Classic Hammerhead SawShark

The shark is another amazing creature which is classified as a fish. It has five to seven gills on the sides of the head and lots of fins to improve swim speed. There are up to 500 species, including the ones above and the range from sizes of an average dog to the largest of species (whale shark) of 40 ft in length. They swim around depths of 2,000 metres and generally only stick to sea water. They have lots of rows of teeth which makes them a formidable threat underwater and you shouldn't ever get close to one.

    Dogs and Cats

Does your dog use his right or left paw when batting toys or shaking hands? Studies have found that just like people, dogs and cats are either “right” or “left pawed”. You’ve heard of the “dog days of summer” but do you know where the phrase comes from? The ancient Romans believed the brilliant star Sirius, also called the “dog star”, gave off heat and made summers hotter. Cats are said to wash behind their ears before rain, perhaps because of the drop in air pressure. Next time your kitty gives her ears a good grooming, check the weather forecast! Famed for their black and white spotted coats, Dalmatians are actually born pure white, and only develop spots as they grow up. Who says cats can’t talk? They can have up to 100 different vocalization sounds. These are some very interesting facts about cats and dogs.

Here are some pictures of my favourite!:

As you can see most of these dogs are very cute, especially the one which is very fluffy. That breed is called a Pomeranian and is the same type of dog which I have. They are very disobediant but also very fluffy.

The Incredible Story of Sissy the Schnauzer

Earlier this year a miniature Schnauzer escaped her family’s home, only to show up at the same hospital as Nancy Franck, her owner. Nancy’s husband Dale, was grief stricken when he realized Sissy, one of his 2 beloved Schnauzers had gone missing. He looked everywhere for the dog. He was relieved when he got a call several hours later that someone found his dog. He was equally surprised when he realized it was a security guard at the same hospital that his wife was a patient at. Incredibly, the canine traveled 20 blocks and made it inside of the hospital, but could not figure out much beyond that. Read more about the story here.

    The Cheetah

This is my favourite animal, and for a good reason. Cheetahs are mainly situated in the south of Africa, and in some parts of Iran. They are part of large cats and are vulnerable to being endangered. Cheetahs are excellent, and I mean outstanding hunters. The main reason they are so good at hunting is because of their incredible speed and agility. Cheetahs can run up to speeds of 70 miles per hour, but the full sprint is usually averaged at around 40 miles per hour. This therefore means that the cheetah is the fastest land animal.

    The King Cheetah

There is a type of cheetah which is unusual and very rare called the king cheetah. It has distinct differences to the regular cheetah such as a completely black spine and much more acceunted spots. They are said to be faster and stronger than a regular cheetah.

Well that is the end of this website here, but some will say it's only the beginning.

Quinn's Section about his favourite animals

Hi, special guest I am Quinn Munro coming all the way from England to help Jackson with his amazing website about animals. Now my favourite animals are from harry potter here they are!:

  • Pygmy Puff
  • Dragon (Norwegian Ridgeback)
  • Goblin
  • I will also show you some pictures of them but be warned they are not for the faintest of hearts so be prepared for them. They are very good animals so don't worry about it.

I just want to thank Jackson for my amazing time on this website, it's been a pleasure having me and I would love to come again to tell you more about my favourite animals. Harry potter is my favourite movie and I wish this website the best of luck forever.
I also want to show my favourite Harry Potter passage: October arrived, spreading a damp chill over the grounds and into the castle. Madam Pomfrey, the nurse, was kept busy by a sudden spate of colds among the staff and students. Her Pepperup potion worked instantly, though it left the drinker smoking at the ears for several hours afterward. Ginny Weasley, who had been looking pale, was bullied into taking some by Percy. The steam pouring from under her vivid hair gave the impression that her whole head was on fire.
